## Where it is

ScreenDashboardBasic

One card per portfolio on the Dashboard, below the summary. Basic and Advanced; the broker line is in Advanced.

The app lists every RupeeCase index; each has its own page. [See all 18 in one table](/strategies/#sxTable).

## What it means

The status line says what the portfolio is doing: up to date, putting money to work, rebalancing now, withdrawing, or needs attention. A pill flags a due rebalance or a problem. The ring shows how far through its rebalance cycle the portfolio is, and is full when a rebalance is due. Below: current value, profit or loss since you invested, and "vs NIFTY 50", the benchmark on the same money and dates.

## The formula

The ring is the share of days gone between the last and the next rebalance. Profit or loss is on your net invested money. The benchmark figure uses your own dates and amounts.

As computed in the RupeeCase app`Cycle ring = days since the last rebalance / days from the last to the next rebalance (full when due)
Profit or loss = current value - invested, and as a share of invested
vs benchmark = the benchmark's return on your own dates and amounts`

## Worked example

Example only

* Last rebalance 1 Sep, next 29 Sep: a 28 day cycle
* On 15 Sep, 14 of 28 days have gone: the ring is 50% through
* On 29 Sep the ring is full and the pill reads Rebalance due

## How to read it

* A full ring with the Rebalance due pill means a rebalance is waiting.
* Profit or loss is since you invested, net of withdrawals.
* Open shows the portfolio; Rebalance now opens the confirm sheet.

## Watch out

* The card's percentage is not per year.
* Practice portfolios use the same card: check the Live or Practice word.
* Needs attention means the last action stopped: open the portfolio to see why.
