One fee. When the index trades.
No subscription. No AUM fee. No performance fee. No lock-in. You pay 0.2% of traded value when an index rebalances. That is the entire cost of using RupeeCase.
Charged only when an index actually executes trades. If a rebalance keeps your holdings identical, the platform fee is zero. Brokerage, STT, stamp duty, and GST on brokerage flow separately through your broker at the standard statutory rates.
What 0.2% looks like in practice
A worked example on Focused Largecap 20 (20 stocks, ₹1,00,000 minimum capital, a four week rebalance so about 13 a year, and an assumed turnover of 30% of the portfolio at each one).
Turnover varies by index and by cycle. A slower cadence or a lower turnover costs less; a faster one costs more. You are only ever charged on the value that actually traded.
The three numbers worth comparing
What you never pay
- Subscription fee. Accounts stay open at zero cost when idle.
- Annual management fee or percentage of AUM.
- Performance fee or carry.
- Entry load, exit load, or early-exit penalty.
- Data or research subscription. Every holding, every rebalance, every rule is published free at /stocks/ and /rebalance/.
Where the fee is charged
The platform fee appears as a line item in your broker statement on rebalance days. It is not deducted from NAV, because your holdings sit in your own demat account and there is no NAV to mark down. You see it, you count it, you audit it.
Broker and statutory costs
Brokerage, STT (securities transaction tax), stamp duty, exchange transaction charges, SEBI turnover fee, and GST on brokerage flow through your broker independently of RupeeCase. These are the same regardless of whether you are running a RupeeCase index or placing manual trades, and they are published on every broker contract note.
When we would ever change this
If pricing changes, existing users get at least 30 days notice by email and on the home page. Any fee increase is documented with the logic (cost basis, new cap, effective date) on this page and mirrored in the Terms of Service. Fee decreases apply automatically.
