Institutional grade index algos on NSE and BSE: a published rule, positions in your own demat, and every order and fill on record for the committee and the auditor.
Yes. Each strategy is an algo like an index: the universe, ranking, number of holdings and cadence are written down and frozen before it runs. Machine learning is used in research; the rule that ships does not change on its own.
Where are the assets held?
In the institution's own demat, at its own SEBI registered broker. RupeeCase never holds money or securities. Orders go through the broker's official API when your authorised user approves.
Can we reconstruct every trade?
Yes. Every model rebalance is published with what came in, what went out and what stayed, and every order and fill sits in your order log with its time, price and quantity.
What does it cost?
0.2% of traded value, per rebalance, like brokerage. No AUM fee, no performance fee, no subscription. Brokerage and statutory charges go through your broker as with any trade.
02Audit trail explorer
Replay a rebalance, record by record.
Pick a published model rebalance and step through it, from the frozen rule to the ledger line, the way your order log and ledger keep it.
Rule, dates and names: the published model rebalance record (model, not actual client trades). Approval, order and fill lines show the fields your order log keeps, with sample values. Not a recommendation of any stock.
03Recorded in the product
The ledger the auditor reads.
The smart ledger keeps every rupee in and out of each portfolio, every charge and every rebalance, dated. Order tracking follows each order from sent to filled.
Smart ledger: money in and out, charges and turnover, per portfolio.
Order tracking: every order with the fill your broker returned.
Portfolio analysis: rolling Sharpe and Sortino, risk heatmaps and drawdowns on the actual result.

Nothing executes without your approval.
On each rebalance the rule lists what goes in and what goes out. Your authorised user confirms; your broker places the orders in your own account.

05Questions
For institutions, answered.
Written to be quoted in a board note.
Can an institution invest in NSE and BSE equity through RupeeCase?
Yes, within its own investment policy and approvals. The institution keeps its own demat and broker account, chooses or tailors an index algo, and approves each rebalance. RupeeCase is a technology platform operated by QC Alpha Technologies Pvt Ltd; it is not a portfolio manager and never holds money or securities.
What audit trail does RupeeCase keep?
Every model rebalance is published with what came in, what went out and what stayed. Every order the rule generates and every fill your broker reports is recorded with its time, price and quantity, and the smart ledger keeps every rupee in and out, dated.
Who holds the securities?
The institution does, in its own demat account at its own SEBI registered broker. Orders go to the broker through its official API only after your authorised user approves the rebalance.
How is RupeeCase priced for institutions?
The same as for everyone: 0.2% of traded value per rebalance, like brokerage, and nothing else. No subscription, no AUM fee and no performance fee. Brokerage and statutory charges go through your broker.
Does RupeeCase use derivatives?
Not today. F&O is planned only as insurance for a portfolio, a hedge, never for speculation. That module is coming.
When will the research module open?
The analysis and research module for institutions and qualified investors is coming. It will add factor research, custom universes, portfolio construction and risk analytics. Write to [email protected] to hear when it opens.
