Methodology

How it works

  1. 1
    Universe

Start from the Nifty 100, filtered to stocks priced under ₹5,000. The equity sleeve sits inside a multi asset frame with debt.

  2. 2
    Rank

Score every stock by a risk adjusted momentum composite over several look backs.

  3. 3
    Select

Hold the top 21 equity names plus the fixed debt sleeve. Equity is equal weighted within its sleeve; the sleeve weights are fixed.

  4. 4
    Rebalance

Every 4 weeks the model reruns: names out of the top 21 are sold, new entrants bought, and the full list is published.

Why Largecap Hybrid

A blue wireframe surface on navy, a lit path descending its slope to the lowest point
Model optimisation, drawn as a surface
  • Largecap momentum on Nifty 100 with an 80/20 equity-plus-debt overlay
  • 4-week cadence keeps turnover and cost at the light end of the lineup
  • A 20% LiquidCase cushion, no gold, no commodity
  • The simplest debt-buffered largecap structure on the lineup
Read 4 more paragraphs, 114 words

20 stocks from the Nifty 100, equal-weighted, plus 20% LiquidCase debt. Rebalance every 4 weeks. No gold sleeve. The equity-plus-debt sibling of Largecap Multi Asset on the Nifty 100 universe.

The debt sleeve is a separate asset from the equity sleeve and does not hedge it.

The trade versus the multi-asset twin is simple: no gold means no inflation hedge and no commodity in the portfolio. Years where gold carries the cushion will show up as a gap between the two cards' figures. Years where gold sits flat will not.

For an investor who explicitly does not want gold exposure on a largecap framework, the 80/20 equity-plus-debt split is the simplest debt-buffered largecap structure.
