03Transparency
A manager's call. Or a rule in the open.
A PMS sends you statements of what was done. Every RupeeCase strategy publishes its rule before it runs, and every rebalance after: what came in, what went out, what stayed.
The rule, universe and cadence on each strategy page.
Every rebalance, dated, in the published record.
Your approval before your broker places the orders.

05The honest part
When a PMS can make sense.
Some investors want a person, not a rule. That is a fair choice.
You want a named manager's judgement, including stock picks a rule would never make, and you trust that process.
You want a fully hands off account. A discretionary PMS trades without asking you; RupeeCase asks you to approve each rebalance.
You want a bespoke mandate and a relationship manager, and the ₹50 lakh minimum is not a constraint.
You want strategies outside rules based equity, such as concentrated fundamental or special situation portfolios.
06Questions
RupeeCase or a PMS?
Straight answers, written to be quoted.
Is RupeeCase a PMS?
No. RupeeCase is a technology platform, not a portfolio manager. It publishes rule based strategies, each packaged like an index, and your own broker executes the trades in your own demat when you approve a rebalance. QC Alpha Technologies Pvt Ltd is not registered with SEBI as a portfolio manager.
What is the minimum for a PMS compared with RupeeCase?
SEBI sets a ₹50 lakh minimum for a PMS. RupeeCase strategies start from ₹26,000, with the highest published minimum at ₹3,02,000 (lineup of 17 Jul 2026), because each strategy needs enough capital to hold whole shares at its weights.
How do PMS fees compare?
A typical PMS charges about 2% of assets a year plus a 20% share of profits above a hurdle, as stated on the current RupeeCase pricing page. RupeeCase charges only 0.2% of traded value per rebalance: no AUM fee, no profit share, no performance fee.
Who holds the shares?
In both cases the shares are typically in your name. In a PMS the account is operated by the manager; with RupeeCase it is your own broker account and you approve each rebalance.
Is the tax the same?
Broadly yes. In both a PMS and RupeeCase each sale is taxed in your hands: STCG at 20% and LTCG at 12.5% above ₹1.25 lakh a year for listed equity. Rules change; consult a tax professional.
Can I see the strategy before I invest?
With RupeeCase, yes: the rule, the universe, the holdings, every past rebalance and the full model back test after costs are on each strategy page. Model, back tested figures are not a promise of future returns.
Typical fee levels: mutual funds 0.3% to 2.5% of assets a year, PMS 2% of assets plus a 20% profit share, as stated on the current RupeeCase pricing page; AIF Category III about 2% plus 20%; PMS minimum ₹50 lakh and AIF minimum ₹1 crore under SEBI rules. Every product differs; read its own documents.
RupeeCase is a technology platform operated by QC Alpha Technologies Pvt Ltd. It is not a mutual fund, a PMS, an AIF or a SEBI registered investment adviser.
