How It Works

  1. Step 1 | Groups Start from a menu of groups: EQUITY VS DEBT, EQUITY VS GOLD. Fixed sleeves (EQUITY CORE) hold a constant weight through every cycle.
  2. Step 2 | Signal A momentum and risk composite scores each group. The model shifts weight toward the groups showing the strongest risk-adjusted trend and away from the ones losing it.
  3. Step 3 | Allocate Capital moves between groups as the signal changes. There is no fixed stock universe: the current composition published on this page is a snapshot of where the model sits today.
  4. Step 4 | Rebalance Every 3 weeks the model re-runs end-to-end and republishes the full composition, so every switch is on record.

Who This Is For

Suitable for
investors who want growth but read a 25 percent drawdown as opportunity not panic
Suggested allocation
20 to 40 percent of equity capital
Time horizon
5 years or longer. Drawdowns of 11% have happened in the backtest and can happen again. Capital you might need within 12 months should not be here.
Capital required
₹4,75,912 minimum. This buys roughly one share of every holding at current prices. Investing more buys fractions of additional units and tightens the model's expected behaviour.

Why This Strategy

The only dynamic card on the lineup. Every other card holds a fixed asset mix and rotates stocks inside it. This one moves the mix itself. A fixed 35% equity core stays invested through every regime, while the other 65% is split into two switches the model controls.

The first switch is 40% of the portfolio and flips between equity and debt. The second is 25% and flips between equity and gold. When the model reads the regime as risk-on, both switches lean into equity and the card runs close to fully invested. When it reads risk-off, the switches rotate into LiquidCase and GoldBees and the equity exposure shrinks to the core.

The equity sleeves screen the Nifty Total Market, the broadest universe on the platform, so the stock selection engine is the same one the static cards run. What is different is that the machine also decides how much of the portfolio that engine gets to drive.

One honest caveat: this card launched later than the static cards, so its figures run since inception rather than the rolling 5 year window the rest of the lineup reports. Compare with that in mind. The current composition, how much sits in equity, debt, and gold right now, is published alongside this card and updates with each rebalance.

This suits investors who want the model to manage the asset mix, not just the stock list. If you have ever known you should trim equity in a frothy market and not done it, this card exists to make that decision for you, every 3 weeks, without asking how you feel.

Key Takeaways

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Dynamic Asset Allocator strategy?
One fixed equity core, two regime switches. The machine decides how much risk to carry. Dynamic Asset Allocator allocates across EQUITY VS DEBT, EQUITY VS GOLD based on a momentum and risk signal, and rebalances every 3 weeks.
What is the minimum investment for Dynamic Asset Allocator?
₹4,75,912. This is enough to hold one share of every name in the current book at present prices. Higher allocations tighten the equal-weight match.
How does Dynamic Asset Allocator compare to the Nifty 50?
Over the since-inception backtest, Dynamic Asset Allocator produced 44.14% CAGR versus Nifty 50's 7.83%. Sharpe ratio 2.32 versus the benchmark's 0.67. Past performance does not guarantee future returns.
What is the worst drawdown Dynamic Asset Allocator has experienced?
10.57% peak-to-trough in the since-inception backtest. The deepest period ran 49 days from 2024-02-09 to 2024-03-29. Drawdowns of similar magnitude can happen again. Position sizing should reflect this.
What are the fees on Dynamic Asset Allocator?
0.2% on traded value per rebalance. No subscription, no AUM fee, no performance fee. With 3 weeks cadence and typical 30 to 50 percent turnover, annual platform fees on the minimum capital work out to under ₹500. See the pricing page for the full worked example.
Can I exit Dynamic Asset Allocator at any time?
Yes. No lock-in. Holdings sit in your own broker demat account and you can sell any name on any market day. Switching strategies or pausing the rebalance is a one-click action on the platform.
